We currently have the privilege of working on a grade 2 listed property in the centre of Bristol renovating it from an office to a single residence for our client. As well as being as sympathetic as possible to how the house would have looked originally, we are upgrading the plumbing, heating & electrics. The house suffered from serious subsidence in the past so we have had to embark on some comprehensive remedial work. The rear sills have been removed and remade onsite by our stone mason. The sash windows have also been removed & levelled and so the floors internally have had to be revelled to remove the internal slope. There is an additional green roof & glu-lam extension to the rear of the property that will provide a modern contrast to the older building.
